Replacement & Spare Vehicle Keys

We specialise in vehicle transponder & remote keys for the major car manufactures such as VW, Seat, Skoda, Audi, Ford, Mazda, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Vauxhall, and many more… Replacement & Spare Vehicle Keys

If you have found yourself unfortunate enough to have lost your only car key requiring replacement car keys, and are wondering what options there are? You can try the dealer, they will usually need to order the keys in, then they will need the vehicle recovering to them, so they can code them to the cars immobiliser system.

Or we can come to you! That’s right, as auto locksmiths we can provide a service the dealer can not! We will gain access to your vehicle with no damage if the car is currently locked, and make new keys to your existing locks (make, because we don’t stock a cut key for every vehicle on the road) so the new key will work your existing locks. When we have a cut key, we will work diagnostically to access your cars immobiliser system and can delete lost or stolen keys, then add our new ones to start the car and work the central locking system by fob if required.

So to save time, money, effort and stress, give us a call and let us take care of the rest! 07827011018

Our service area includes the Wirral and areas of Cheshire naming the Towns and Cities of Birkenhead, Wallasey, Heswall, Neston, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Wrexham, Mold, Buckley, Middlewich, Northwich, Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington.

We stock a huge range of transponder keys and remotes to cover most manufactures and models including the Renault key cards, so we can produce a new working key same day!

What is a transponder & how do they work?

The transponder was introduced around 1994 after a rise in car thefts and an increase in joy riding with stolen cars. The transponder is a small microchip with a miniature antenna and when placed near the ignition antenna allows the information stored hidden in the immobiliser or ECU to be exchanged like a coded hand shake with the transponder, and only when the correct hand shake is made will the engine start.
